The US Rice Producers Association’s Rice Market & Technology Convention will be held May 28-30 at the Hilton Miami Downtown in Miami, Fla.

With support of rice trade associations (both millers and producers), the US Rice Producers Association sponsored the first Americas Rice Convention in 2012, attended by almost 500 people with more than 30 countries represented.

Focus of the event this year will be the future of the rice industry in Americas — marketing and technology.

The convention offers opportunities for networking, including a welcome reception that will be held at the new baseball stadium of the Miami Marlins.

Attendees will hear some of the leading experts in the industry, including Dr. Steve Linscombe, Bob Papanos, Jim Wiesemeyer, George Pope, Norris Bond and Dr. Joanna Dossmann.
