Partisan politics will pose a serious challenge for quick passage of a farm bill on the House floor, says Frank Lucas, R-Okla., Chairman of the House Agriculture committee.
Lucas, during a press briefing following his keynote remarks at last week’s Southern Peanut Growers’ Conference in Panama City, Beach, Florida, said the bill “leaves the House Ag Committee with bi-partisan support.”
