Mississippi peanut yield contest winners announced

"Mississippi peanut growers produced an outstanding crop in 201, which was all the more impressive considering the large number of new growers," says Malcolm Broome, executive director of the Mississippi Peanut Growers Association. "Almost all of the winners in our yield competition had yields in excess of 5,000 lbs., and one topped 6,000 lbs.”
