Trapping navel orangeworm ahead of almond hullsplit can save crop, money

University of California IPM specialist Walt Bentley talks about managing navel orangeworm (NOW) traps prior to new crop almond hullsplit. These traps can detect high populations of overwintering NOW that growers can treat with low risk pesticides ahead of the new crop hullsplit.
