A problem many of you know firsthand is getting some national attention. The national rural teacher shortage is reported in USA Today. About 9.3 million public school students attend a rural school. Montana has the highest percentage of rural schools. 

The planting of the U.S. corn crop grew from 2% to 4%. USDA hasn't posted soybean planting progress yet.

Chinese soybean imports surged last month. Two-thirds of them came from U.S.

Spring wheat seeding is ahead of average pace.
