The "Coalition for responsible gene editing in agriculture" has been formed and will include businesses like Cargill, Costco Whole and Pepsico.

Some businesses like Costco Whole are going another step further and training the buyers for the company to confirm products with gene editing are being verified and going through the responsible use system.
