Max Armstrong examines a new technology from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem.

The new technology which uses artificial intelligence and different spraying capabilities, was created by Greeneye Technology. It helps to control weeds, cutting herbicide costs and running the sprayer less.

It's been tested in Nebraska for two years against a broadcast application of herbicides in corn there.

The results show that there was a 94 percent reduction of weeds in burndown use of herbicide in a pre-emergence spray compared to broadcast application.

This means a savings of $25 per acre for farmers.

In a post emergence test, there was 87 percent reduction of weeds compared to a broadcast application of herbicide.

This meant a $40 per acre savings for corn producers.

This technology allows producers to use more than necessary herbicide.
