Soybeans and spring wheat had double-digit losses near midday on Monday as weekend rain fell where it was needed and weather forecasts indicate more rain is on the way. Corn and wheat futures also are lower.

The longer-term forecasts has cool but dry conditions for the Midwest, which may add pollinating corn and maturing soybeans. Also, farms in eastern Iowa and northern Illinois would like a little less rain as fields there have standing water and creeks and rivers there are overflowing.
