Morning Market Update: Will fog in Chicago lift?

Corn stays firm on planting concerns as trade looms large.

Selling dented markets across the board on Wednesday, but heavy rains forced bears to run for cover overnight as corn and soybeans try to reverse higher. Fog settled in over Chicago, an apt metaphor for markets trying to find direction. While traders eye weather around the world they’re also watching the talks between the U.S. and China that aren’t expected to go anywhere quickly.
