Corn futures are trading a few cents lower on Monday as traders expect rapid planting over the weekend should have about 70% of the nation’s crop planted.
USDA will release planting progress and other crop data later on Monday.
Soybeans are trading a few cents higher after gains were trimmed when today’s NOPA report showed a smaller than expected April crush.
