Corn, soybeans and wheat are starting the week lower with forecasts turning cool and wet.

The National Weather Service is out with its forecast for August later today.

Analysts will give their views on expected size of crop this week in advance of Aug. 10 USDA report. Farm Futures survey of 2017 crop is due out 7 a.m. Thursday.

Crude oil rallied to around $50 a barrel.
