Markets gain despite strong dollar. (Video report)

Weather fueled buying again overnight, and farmers in the U.S. aren’t the only ones watching the sky for rain. Hot, dry conditions baked fields this summer in Germany and Australian wheat prices hit new contract highs today as the drought there intensifies. Gains in the U.S. market came despite a stronger dollar that was bearish for other commodities.
