Crops drift lower ahead of holiday weekend

Corn, soybeans and wheat markets are mostly lower in light trading. The markets will close at 12:05 central time  today, about an hour earlier than normal. The markets also will be closed on Monday.

USDA on Friday announced the sale of 4.36 million bushels of corn sale to unknown destinations.
