New high prices have been the norm lately on land sales, according to BigIron Realty. Cropland, pasture ground and hunting land are all hot on the market. Land selling at online auctions, according to BigIron, is garnering the highest prices.

The following are several of the most recent sales in Nebraska, this month all compliments of BigIron Realty:
Platte County. A total of 160 acres sold at online auction for $1,824,000. This pivot-irrigated quarter section features a 10-tower T&L pivot and a 75-hp electric motor. There is also a fully cemented curvet building, barn and a home that is not inhabitable. The farm is typical of the area, lying flat to gently rolling, and has good gravel road access.
Platte County. A total of 160 acres sold at online auction in two tracts for $1,852,000. Tract 1 includes 80 acres. This high-quality farm is nearly flat and has good gravel road access. The south portion of this property is being irrigated by a neighbor. After the sale, there is no obligation from the neighbor to continue to supply the irrigation. Tract 2 is also 80 acres. This is another quality dryland farm. It is flat to gently sloping and has good gravel road access.
Nance County. A total of 83.8 acres sold at online auction for $536,320. This property has all kinds of possibilities and is only a couple of minutes from Genoa, Neb. There are 47.9 acres of cropland, with the balance being grass, creek line, which has plenty of hunting potential, and a homesite. Colfax County. A total of 80 acres sold at online auction for $736,000. This dryland property has 72.19 acres of cropland and 4.3 acres of trees. It has good gravel road access, and possession will be open for 2022.
