The ninety-fifth annual meeting of the Arkansas Seed Growers Association will be held on Jan. 25 at the Rice Branch Experiment Station in Stuttgart, Ark. Lunch will be served.

Registration will start at 8 a.m. and the program will begin around 8:50 a.m.

“We’ve got a great line-up of speakers and timely topics,” says Scooter Hodges, president of the association. “Folks don’t need to miss it.”

Arkansas-based attorney Joel Cape’s talk on the Roundup Ready 1 (RR1) trait coming off patent “will definitely be of interest to everyone. Farmers want to know if they can save seed and how breeding programs can make use of the trait. (Cape) will explain all of that. But there will be plenty of other highlights.”
