The 36th annual Sunbelt Ag Expo kicked off Oct. 15. With 1,219 exhibitors, a new record for the event, the first day saw a new Southeastern Farmer of the Year crowned, a state ag commissioner become the region’s top cow hand-milker in an impromptu friendly competition and tens of thousands saw the latest in top agricultural technology and ideas.
