Ohio Lamb and Wool Queen named

Courtney Hagler will be at many events to help promote the industry.

SHEEP REP: The Ohio Lamb and Wool Queen helps promote the sheep industry throughout the year.

Courtney Dominique Hagler was recently named the 2017-18 Ohio Lamb and Wool Queen.

She is a resident of Sabina and a high school graduate from East Clinton High School. She also has an associate’s degree from Southern State Community College in Agriculture Production Applied Science.

While in school, she was a member of 4-H and FFA, where she received her American Degree and was a state winner for Veterinary Medicine proficiency.

Hagler now works full time as a vet assistant at Fayette Veterinary Hospital and will be studying to become a certified veterinarian technician.

Hagler has been involved with the market lamb industry, Guys & Gals Lead, showing cattle, as well as breeding Pembroke Corgis in her spare time.

Throughout the year, Hagler will be at many events to help promote the industry.
