The new Kuhn GMD 8730 rear-mounted triple disc mower from Kuhn North America, Inc., is designed to make short work of a hay crop with a 28'7" swath and a smooth, consistent cut. Discs on the machine feature a new computer-designed shape.
New Kuhn GMD 8730 triple-disc mower will cut more than 28-feet swaths with as little as 120 horsepower.
The machine combines the strength and durability of the "lubed for life" Optidisc cutter bar, a precision Lift-Control suspension system and the heavy-duty support of a high-strength steel frame. Designed for use with the GMD 802 F-FF, this new unit operates with as little as 120 horsepower at the power take off. The Fast-Fit blade retention system provides for quick blade changes with the use of a simple tool and provides for the same cut as traditional blade arrangements.
