Intelligent Agricultural Solutions (IAS) has updated software driving its Wireless Blockage Monitor to enable it to simultaneously monitor seed and fertilizer delivery by air seeders.
Wireless Blockage Monitor uses an iPad tablet computer to process and display blockage data gathered by acoustic sensors and transmitted to the iPad via a dedicated wireless WiFi network. The software update, which will be available free from the Apple App Store in late February, monitors blockage based on acoustic properties of the flow rates of each product in the seeder. This allows it to accurately diagnose partial blockages of both seed and fertilizer anywhere in the system. In the past, the system monitored a single product.
The suggested retail price for a Wireless Blockage Monitor system is $6,000 to $12,000, depending on the size and configuration of the air seeder. The system includes acoustic sensors, an iPad tablet computer, wiring harnesses, a WiFi router and related hardware. For information, visit intelligentag.com.
