The grain dryer industry has been bringing a range of innovations to farmers. GSI launched its latest dryer innovations last year with the Starfire burner, and other access and maintenance updates. For 2017, the company has gone a step further with the new GSI Quiet Dryer.
This new system is a step-change in quality over the use of a vane axial fan. For farmers who have to be around the dryer through harvest, and for neighbors near the dryer, this new Quiet Dryer offers a noticeable improvement. And this new system provides quieter operation while maintaining both dryer and blower efficiency.
Using a blower similar to those found in proven GSI tower dryers, the company was able to reduce noise by more than 50%, while not giving away any efficiencies. This is a patent-pending design that uses less moving parts than centrifugal fans, and offers even quieter operation.
This new system is available on 12- to 24-foot dryers, and offers producers other enhanced features as well. For a better idea of how this new dryer can reduce operational noise, watch the informational video above.
