Sardis Reservoir currently stands at 67 percent capacity, and there are 4500 cubic feet of water flowing through the spillway every second according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. While some fields across the Delta are drying out, there are still many acres covered with water preventing farmers from planting. The following images show the impact water has on rural residents and fields used for row crop production.
