Farm Progress has a long history of providing seminars at the National Farm Machinery Show. The aim is to give farmers a chance for a more in-depth look at key trends impacting specific parts of the industry working with exhibitors on site.

Each year, Farm Futures sponsors four seminars, and for 2020, the list of programs runs across a wide range. Here's a rundown on the four seminars sponsored by Farm Futures that will all be held in South Wing B 104:

Wednesday, Feb. 12 – 1 p.m.

What’s New With Combines

Automation, enhanced calibration systems and a range of new technology graces the latest combines on the market. In this seminar, speakers will share the latest information and answer attendee questions about how to make the most of harvest in 2020 and beyond.

Thursday, Feb. 13 – 1 p.m.

Why Consider a Pull-type Sprayer?

What value do pull-type sprayers have in farming? What new technologies are companies bringing to this market? Speakers will share advancementswith this farm equipment.

Thursday, Feb. 13 - 4 p.m.

Material Handling and Livestock.

To make livestock care easier, companies offer a range of tools for feedmaking, feed handling and more. Speakers will share information on the latest developments in this area.

Friday, Feb. 14 – 1 p.m.

What’s New With Farm Tires?

What’s in a tire? A lot more than just a few years ago — IF, VF, LSW and more. Speakers will share the latest information on tires and how best to manage them on the farm, including new tech and efficiency information.

Each seminar includes a panel of experts moderated by Willie Vogt, editorial director, Farm Progress. The panel approach allows participants the opportunity to provide in-depth comments on the technology involved, and yet answer questions of the audience. Farmers attending NFMS will want to make plans to attend the seminars that impact their farms most.

The technology and innovation explored in this series of seminars offers attendees a quick chance to catch up on key concepts.
