New Holland recently was recognized at a major European show for its new Intellifill System that automatically starts and stops filling a wagon with forage. The show was EIMA and was held in Bologna, Italy.
New Holland installed the Intellifill on its FR9000 Series forage harvesters. The system uses infrared sensors to detect the level of forage in the wagon, according to Virginio Cesana, product specialist, CNH Italia. When the wagon is full, the Intellifill System automatically shuts off. The advantage of this system on a self-propelled harvester is that harvest can continue without interruption for changing wagons.
