FASTER: Skip the lines and buy cheaper tickets online, in advance.Holly Spangler

With just a week to go until the 2021 Farm Progress Show returns to Decatur, Ill., one thing is definitely true: The early bird gets the worm — and the cheapest admission and shortest lines.

“Buying your tickets online and in advance is an easy and smooth process,” says Matt Jungmann, national events director for Farm Progress. Advance tickets save you $5 per ticket on an adult admission, and they let you skip the lines when you get to the show.

Here is how it works: Go to the Farm Progress Show website and select the number of tickets you would like to purchase. After entering your name and payment information, the system sends the tickets to your email address, you print them off, and you’re ready to go to the show. A ticket will cost you $15 instead of the $20 you’d pay at the gate, and you’ll be able to walk right on past the longer lines of folks buying their tickets on-site.

You can also text FPS21 to 20505 to buy tickets from your phone, which also registers you for a Yeti Tailgate Prize Pack. Many exhibitors are also offering giveaways and prizes.

Your ticket is good for any day you choose to attend the show. At the gates, tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students ages 13-17, and kids 12 and under are free.

The 2021 Farm Progress Show runs Aug. 31 to Sept. 2, in Decatur, Ill. Learn more at FarmProgressShow.com.
