New Idaho law eases chemigation regs

A new law in Idaho eases licensing requirements for chemigators, reducing paperwork while still ensuring that irrigators are adequately trained and informed.

Chemigation is the practice of applying pesticides or fertilizers through irrigation systems and has long been a critical component of Idaho farming operations, the state Department of Agriculture explained in a release.
