Choosing favorite stories out of an entire year’s worth of covering everything agriculture in Iowa is no easy task. But, there were a few that definitely stuck out, including:

One of our other favorites will tug at your heartstrings and show just how close the farming community is. When a local farmer unexpectedly passed, the community, friends and family stepped in to make sure his crops were harvested. It’s the kind of story you don’t want to have to share, but we were also happy to.
