Harvest is a time of hard work, beauty and the fruits of the year’s labor. It’s often shared with family — with several generations working side by side to get the crop out.

Whether your view is from the combine cab or the edge of the field, Prairie Farmer wants to see your best Illinois harvest family photo.

Let’s celebrate the beauty of the family farm during Illinois ag’s busiest time of year. Your photo may be chosen to run in an online gallery and in the December issue of Prairie Farmer.

Send your best multigenerational family harvest photos to [email protected] by Nov. 13. Submissions can either be from the 2023 crop year, or years past as a tribute to family farmers who are no longer with us. All submissions must include:

  • a high-resolution photo (most cellphone photos are high-enough quality)

  • the photographer’s name

  • names of those present in the photo

  • the location where the photo was taken

  • the crop being harvested

  • any other important information

Have a safe and bountiful harvest season — and don’t forget to send your family photos to Prairie Farmer!
