Kuhn Krause opens new facilities in Hutchinson, Kan.

Kuhn Krause has announced the grand opening of its expanded manufacturing facilities in Hutchinson, Kan. Construction ground breaking for the high-bay 70,000 sq. ft. building expansion began in April, 2012 and was recently completed. With a total cost of the construction project at $5.0 million, the expansion complements other investments made in 2011 by the company and sets the stage for additional investments in 2013 and beyond to continue manufacturing agricultural equipment products in Hutchinson, KS.

The expansion will improve manufacturing capacity, efficiency and quality with new technology and use of lean manufacturing strategies. A dedication ceremony was held with employees and local dignitaries and guests to recognize the investment and celebrate the milestone.
