The Wisconsin FFA Foundation is once again hosting three summer golf outings around the state. All three events are open to the public and benefit the Foundation’s annual fund, a cornerstone of financial support for Wisconsin FFA and agricultural education in the state. Together these golf outings are the Wisconsin FFA Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser and in 2015 provided nearly $27,000 in support.

The outings are an 18-hole, best-ball scramble format for teams of four golfers. Dates are as follows:

•Monday, July 11: Northwest Outing in Eau Claire at the Wild Ridge Golf Course
•Tuesday, July 12: Northeast Outing in De Pere at Mid Vallee Golf Course
•Monday, July 25: Southern Outing in Prairie du Sac at Lake Wisconsin Country Club

The final golfer registration deadline is June 24, though participants signed up by June 11 will be entered into a drawing to win a cash prize. Registration is $80 per person for each outing, which includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, continental breakfast and a buffet luncheon hosted by a local celebrity guest.

To register, call (608) 831-5058 ext. 2, or visit www.wisconsinffafoundation.org/events. The luncheon program is available for non-golfers at $15 per ticket. Donations for live and silent auctions, as well as outing sponsorships are always welcome. The 2016 brochure and explanation of sponsorship opportunities also can be found online.

“The Wisconsin FFA Foundation appreciates those that make our golf outings a success each year,” says Sara Schoenborn, executive director of the Wisconsin FFA Foundation. “It’s a fun time, but more importantly, a chance to say thank you to our fellow agricultural advocates from all over Wisconsin. The support for FFA from sponsors and golfers alike is tremendous.”
