National FFA announces Kansas finalists

FFA chapters and members will represent the state at the National FFA Convention in November.

KANSAS FFA: This November, Kansas FFA will be well represented at the National FFA Convention, set for Nov. 1-4, with finalists in the Premier Chapter, Proficiency Award and Agriscience Fair programs. Courtesy of Kansas FFA

The National FFA Organization recently announced finalists for the Premier Chapter, Proficiency Award and Agriscience Fair programs. The following students and chapters will represent Kansas at the National FFA Convention and Expo this November in the following competitions.

  • Premier Chapter: Growing Leaders. Beloit FFA, Chapman FFA and Udall FFA.

  • Premier Chapter: Building Communities. Sedan FFA.

  • Premier Chapter: Strengthening Ag. Oxford FFA.

  • Proficiency Awards. Cecillia Newby, Labette County FFA, Veterinary Science; Augustus Wright, Paola FFA, Vegetable Production; Noah Wiley, Labette County FFA, Grain Production; Ella Pachta, Republic County FFA, Forage Production; and Delaney New, Holton FFA, Diversified Livestock Production.

  • Agriscience Fair. Animal Systems Division 5, Maddie Weaber, Wamego FFA; Food Products and Processing Systems Division 6, Emma Hinds and Keiondrae Wilcox, Junction City FFA; and Environmental Services and Natural Resource Systems Division 6, Jory Ratzlaff and Garrett Maltbie, Canton-Galva FFA.

The 96th annual National FFA Convention and Expo will be held Nov. 1-4 in Indianapolis.
