Mike Pearson gives listeners an update about what is ahead with dicamba.

An Arizona judge ruled two weeks ago that the dicamba registration be revoked, which meant it couldn't be used for this next growing season. This created problems for those that had already purchased it.

The judge's decision included three new lines of Dicamba introduced in 2016: Tavium, Engenia and XtendiMax.

This created havoc for man producers on the finances, crop production and crop productivity.

However, the EPA issued an existing stock order last week. This is a legal way to utilize the existing chemicals. Producers can use the dicamba bought, packed, labeled before the court decision.

This is not the first time EPA has issued an existing stock order. The EPA did the same thing in 2022 which allowed the EPA to follow precedent.

The decision by the EPA gave farmers certainty and allowed them to use the chemical for this growing season.
