Lucas Lentsch will join the United Soybean Board as it’s new CEO on Jan. 1, 2024. He was formerly the Secretary of Agriculture of the State of South Dakota. He’s served dairy producers, as well, and was in the Army National Guard. Outgoing Board Chair Megan Kaiser has confidence in Lentsch. He supports the checkoff and says it creates open markets, drives innovation and gives growers a voice in the marketplace.
