Jason Bean, interim superintendent, and Chuck Provance, farm manager, had the Lee Farms facility in great condition for this year's event. Tour stops highlighted the latest in breeding soybeans for flood tolerance, precision irrigation, and control issues to look out for in Xtend crops. The Fisher Delta Research Center consists of four locations in a 12-county area that makes up the Missouri Bootheel.

The Center maintains a cotton micro-gin, regional soil and plant testing laboratories, greenhouses, a drought simulator, and soybean seed library. An introduction into hemp farming was also available for those interested in learning more about this crop that is gaining more attention across the country.

The University of Missouri Ag Experiment Station maintains 16 off-campus ag centers, farms and forests around the state.
