Dr. Juan Sasturain, senior manager of product stewardship, BASF, explains the functions of the new BASF Pesticide Information App, which features a number of options for managing work on the farm. The functions include handling emergencies on the farm, managing chemical spills, the ability to search for crop protection products and other options. The app was launched at the DLG Field Days in Bernburg-Strenzfeld, Germany, held June 19-21.
