Texas cotton losses just shy of a million

The hardest hit county still seems to be Floyd, with Crosby, Lamb and Hale counties also suffering severe setbacks from the weather.

However, from Lubbock south the picture is certainly brighter. Although some of the acreage has been re-planted, the overall total acres remains pretty much as intended.

In the top two tiers of counties on the PCG map, producers and ginners are still waiting to see the final result of seedling disease on many fields.
