Support remains for $1-plus cotton prices

Bleak prospects for the U.S. cotton crop, thanks to the severe drought in Texas that will cause millions of acres to be abandoned, will provide support for prices at $1 and above, says Dr. O. A. Cleveland, Jr., Mississippi State University agricultural economics professor emeritus.
