Private exporters reported the sale of nearly 5.0 million bushels of 2014/2015 U.S. corn to unknown destinations, USDA said on Monday.
The marketing year for corn began Sept. 1.
As of November 20, nearly 173 million bushels in outstanding sales of 2014/2015 corn were assigned to unknown destinations, or about a third of the total outstanding sales, according to USDA.
Exporters are required to report to USDA any export sales activity of 100,000 tons or more of one commodity made in one day or quantities totaling 200,000 tons or more in any reporting period, except 20,000 tons for soybean oil, made in one day to one destination by the following business day.
