Twin-row planting has been attracting increased attention in the Mid-South and Southeast as growers seek to increase yields while reducing costs. Great Plains Manufacturing has been conducting research to help farmers get a better handle on the new planting system and to show them ways to get the best use out of the planters and grain drills the company manufactures in Kansas. Tom Evans talked about new developments in twin-row planting during an interview with Farm Press Editor Forrest Laws during the company’s dealer meetings in Kansas City.
