Iowa Corn Growers Association Announces Director Election Results

ICGA and ICPB have some new farmer leaders added to their boards.

New farmer leaders for the Iowa Corn Growers Association and the Iowa Corn Promotion Board will bring grassroots policy issues forward and make sure that market development, education and research continue to create opportunities for Iowa's corn growers. Separate ICGA and ICPB elections were held on July 14. In the following list, the re-elected incumbent directors are indicated with a star. 

Iowa Corn Growers Association

  • District 1 - Roger Knoblock, O'Brien County*

  • District 2 - Gary Woodley, Wright County*

  • District 4 - Jim Meyer, Sac County*

  • District 5 - Greg Eibs, Marshall County*

  • District 6 - Jerry Mohr, Scott County

  • District 7 - Doug Holliday, Adair County* 

  • District 8 - Kyle Phillips, Marion County

  • District 9 - Kurt Hora, Washington County

  • At-Large - Pam Johnson, Floyd County

Iowa Corn Promotion Board

  • District 1 - Gary Small, Buena Vista County

  • District 2 - Debra Keller, Wright County*

  • District 4 - Larry Klever, Audubon County

  • District 5 - Kevin Rempp, Poweshiek County*

  • District 7 - Julius Schaaf, Fremont County* 

  • District 8 - Ray Cook, Wayne County

The ICPB and ICGA share a common mission to create opportunities for long-term Iowa corn grower profitability. The ICGA represents more than 6,000 members and lobbies on a variety of agricultural issues important to growers. The ICPB is responsible for investing Iowa corn checkoff funds to develop and defend markets, conduct research, and provide education about corn and products made from corn.
