Registration is open for the 2018 Minnesota Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts’ annual convention.

The event will be held Dec. 9-11 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bloomington-Minneapolis South hotel in Bloomington, Minn. The three-day convention will include recognition for outstanding SWCDs and individuals, information relevant to SWCD work, breakout sessions, a trade show and silent auction, and a keynote address from renowned soil health expert Robin “Buz” Kloot of the University of South Carolina.

At the business meeting, the state’s 445 elected SWCD board members will vote on issues that will become part of MASWCD’s policy platform.
