Radicchio is a unique burgundy-colored vegetable quickly gaining favor with U.S. consumers for its versatility and nutritional value. Radicchio is high in antioxidants, loaded with fiber, and contains high levels of Vitamins B, C, and K. These Western Farm Press radicchio harvest photos were captured in late July at the Royal Rose LL farm in Salinas, Calif., owned by Dennis Donohue, during the Produce Marketing Association's Foodservice Conference.
