Interested in marketing your products in West African countries? USDA will lead a trade mission to Accra, Ghana, Oct. 28-31, and applications for the mission will be accepted through Aug. 2. Economic growth in the region is driving demand for imported food and farm products.

The mission is part of the Trump administration’s Prosper Africa initiative, which seeks to strengthen commercial ties and foster trade between the U.S. and several western Africa nations.

USDA Foreign Agricultural Service staff will arrange meetings between trade mission delegates and potential customers from Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Senegal and The Gambia. Economic and policy briefings and local site visits will help participants better understand the opportunities and challenges of exporting to the African nations.
