Simpson Farm Enterprises will be displaying the Apache AS1040 in their outside booth spaces O-55-59 at the 3i Show in Dodge City, Kan., and offering show visitors the chance to test drive the affordable, 1,000-gallon self-propelled sprayer.
Demonstrations will be held on-demand and are free.
The AS1040 weighs in at 20,000 pounds and offers better fuel economy, reduced compaction and a lower price. This model features a 6-speed ZF power shifting transmission with lock-up torque converter and road speed of 35 mph; a 225 hp Cummins engine; and a 1,000-gallon tank capacity. Boom sizes range from 90 to 132 feet with a crop clearance of 42 to 50 inches.
The 2019 Apache enhances are a new, one piece hood design; an added cross member to improve load distribution under the product tank for better balance; Raven Advanced RS1 steering; in-cab remote support; a new positive position joy stick; and Bluetooth capabilities. All that plus the industry’s best 5-year warranty.
