High-flow hydraulics, a new spacious cab and a 3.3 L three-cylinder Agco Power engine are hallmarks of the new 5600 Series mid-range tractors from Massey Ferguson.

The MF5609 is rated at 70 horsepower at the power takeoff, while the MF5610 cranks out 75 hp. Both models pass Tier 4A emissions standards and are electronically controlled for power management and fuel economy.

The 3.3 L triple cylinder engine shares many design and physical components with Agco Power's long line of engines. Features include four valves per cylinder, wet replaceable cylinder liners, and SisuTronic EEM4 electronic engine controls.

The first of Massey Ferguson's new 5600 Series tractors is in the market with the recent introd ction of theMF 5609 and MF5610.

Both new tractors share the Dyna 4 transmission which is a four-range design with 16 forward and 16 reverse speeds. An "Auto Drive" function is available as an upgrade.

New to the Dyna 4 transmission is the AUTO-N feature, which allows the gearbox to go into neutral when the operator engages both brake pedals. This makes loader work faster and more convenient by eliminating the use of a hand lever or clutch pedal.

An open-center hydraulic system with a standard flow rate of 11 gallons per minute to the rear three-point linkage and 15 gpm to remote valves provides fast, efficient hydraulic power. An optional Twin Flow system combines flows from both pumps for 26 gpm and even faster cycle times.

Both models have identical sized cabs shared by their bigger sibling the 7600 Series and use a six-post design for maximum visibility.
