Bestway Launches Auto Boom Height Control

Bestway Launches Auto Boom Height Control

The versatile system works on self-propelled, pull-type and large 3-point mounted sprayers.

Keep your spray boom at just the right level with the new AutoGlide automatic sprayer boom height control system from Bestway Inc. The system uses ultrasonic range sensors mounted on the spray boom to continually monitor and maintain the height of booms above the ground or crop canopy. With this design, Bestway says AutoGlide offers more consistent spray patterns, better coverage and reduced drive potential. The system also helps reduce operator fatigue.

BOOM CONTROL: New system from Bestway offers add-on boom height control for a wide range of sprayers.

The product uses the sprayer's existing electric-over-hydraulic controls so there are no extra hydraulic components to add. That helps make installation simpler too. A compact, in-cab controller with a simple menu allows easy configuration and calibration of the system and allows engaging and disengaging the automatic mode. And the operator can adjust boom height on the go.

The system is available in two-, three-, four- and five-sensor models to fit most boom sizes and terrain. It works with most self-propelled, pull-type and large 3-point-mounted sprayers. For more information call 877-390-4480, contact or visit
