Private exporters reported the sale of 14 million bushels of 2016/2017 soybeans to China, USDA said on Wednesday.

Also on Wednesday, USDA corrected its Aug. 4 export announcement to say 4.74 million bushels of soybeans were sold to unknown destinations. It originally said the sale was corn.

The marketing year for soybeans begins Sept. 1.

Private exporters reported the sales of 4.41 million bushels of 2016/2017 soybeans to China, 4.74 million bushels of 2016/2017 soybeans to unknown destinations and 100,460 metric tons of soybean meal to Mexico, USDA said on Thursday.

The soybean meal to Mexico includes 72,122 tons in the 2016/2017 crop year and 28,338 in the 2017/2018 year.

The marketing year for soybeans begins Sept. 1 and the soymeal.year begins Oct. 1.

Private exporters reported the sale of 5.66 million bushels of 2016/2017 corn to Mexico, USDA said on Wednesday.

That is the second daily corn sale to Mexico this week.

Private exporters reported the sales of 9.26 million bushels of 2016/2017 soybeans to China and nearly 5.1 million bushels of 2016/2017 corn to unknown destinations, USDA said on Thursday.

Nine daily soybean sales have been announced in the past week and Thursday’s is the fifth to China.

Private exporters reported the sales of 16.2 million bushels of soybeans to China, 9.4 million bushels to unknown destinations and 11.4 million bushels of 2016/2017 corn to unknown destinations, USDA said on Wednesday.

Eight daily soybean sales have been announced in the past week and Wednesday’s is the fourth to China.

The China sale is 2016/2017 soybeans, while the unknown destinations soybean deal included 2.42  million bushels of old-crop and nearly 7 million of new-crop.

Private exporters reported the sales of 4.74 million bushels of soybeans to China and nearly 12 million to unknown destinations, USDA said on Thursday.

China’s purchase included about 2.4 million bushels of the 2015/2016 crop and about 2.3 million of the 2016/2017 crop.

Unknown destinations bought  2.4 million of the 2015/2016 crop and 9.7 million of 2016/2017.

The marketing years for corn and soybean begin Sept. 1.

Private exporters reported the sales of 4.8 million bushels of soybeans to China and nearly 9.8 million of corn to unknown destinations, USDA said on Wednesday.

China’s purchase included nearly 2.4 million bushels of the 2015/2016 crop and slightly more than 2.4 million of the 2016/2017 crop.

Unknown destinations bought 9.76 million of corn that included 2.9 million of the 2015/2016 crop and 6.84 of the 2016/2017 one.

The marketing year for corn and soybean begins Sept. 1.

USDA issues both daily and weekly export sales reports to the public.  Exporters are required to report to USDA any export sales activity of 100,000 tons or more of one commodity, made in one day or quantities totaling 200,000 tons or more in any reporting period.
