Soybeans are trading higher near midday on Tuesday as that market rebounds from recent losses.
The gains are despite USDA late on Monday keeping the crop rating unchanged at 71% good to excellent. Minor slippage in that rating had been expected after last week’s hot weather. Corn was trading near unchanged.
Wheat markets are lower as reports from Russia say that harvest may be the largest in the post-Soviet era.
