Soybeans higher after more export sales

Corn weak, wheat mixed, ahead of USDA data. (audio)

Soybean futures moved higher Thursday morning after USDA announced two daily soybean export sales and a soybean meal export sale. In addition, new-crop soybean sales in USDA’s weekly export report were better than expected.
Traders, however, remain focused on Friday’s USDA report, in which a number of analysts expect USDA to raise its estimates for 2016 corn and soybean production and for those exports.
