Mustang Seeds has a full line of new Enlist E3 soybeans for 2020. Enlist E3 soybeans can be sprayed with glyphosate, glufosinate and 2-4,D.

Also new from Mustang Seeds are Balance GTLL, Roundup Ready Xtend and conventional non-GMO varieties.

“As a family-owned company for over 55 years, we offer all the traits from all the providers,” says Terry Schultz, president of Mustang Seeds, a regional seed company based in Madison, S.D. Its 2020 lineup also includes corn, alfalfa, forages, sorghum and cover crop seed.

“We do have farmers’ best interests at heart, because if they’re not profitable, neither are we,” Schultz says. “We keep a wide range of varieties, so we can customize a seed package that will work best on their farms.”

Earlier this year, Mustang Seeds announced a partnership with GDM Seeds, founded in 1982 in Argentina. The company has soybean and wheat breeding programs in the U.S., Latin America and Canada.

Several new original GDM genetics are in the development pipeline, Schultz says.
