The 18th Annual Southern Peanut Growers Conference will be July 21-23 at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort at Miramar Beach, Florida.

The three-day event provides peanut farmers with the latest information on efficient peanut production, legislative issues and marketing and promotions. The theme this year is “Survivor–Managing the Challenge,” and will include special presentations on survival in the marketplace, surviving production uncertainty and how peanut oil can be fuel for survival and maybe defense.

In addition to the conference sessions, the event focuses on the family by offering a ladies’ program and golf tournament.

The conference is a joint venture and coordinated by Southern Peanut Farmers Federation, Alabama Peanut Producers Association, Florida Peanut Producers Association, Georgia Peanut Commission, the Mississippi Peanut Growers Association and Southern Peanut Growers.
